Classrooms

Infant Room

 

The Infant room is all about exploration.  Children are provided with opportunities to explore the world using all their senses.  Lesson plans are based on Ohio's Early Learning Development Standards, and ensure that children are being exposed to important skills and materials that will build a strong foundation for exploration and problem solving.  

Toddler Room
​

This nurturing environment provides the structure that allows the children to grow and learn while feeling safe and comfortable. The toddlers are given daily opportunities to explore and learn through age appropriate toys and projects. Children in the Toddler Classroom are encouraged to try to use their words to express their needs and wants. The activities in the Toddler Classroom are developed to create learning and social experiences through play, projects, and activities.

Preschool Room
​

The Preschool classroom focuses on social skills, problem solving, and exposing children to letters, numbers, and important academic concepts.   Lesson plans are based on Ohio's Early Learning Development Standards, and Reggio Emilia philosophy. This philosophy encourages children to learn new vocabulary, science and math concepts, and artistic expression through hands-on investigations.

Pre K Room

The Pre-K classroom focuses on self-help and self-regulation skills as well as academic concepts needed for kindergarten.   Lesson Plans are based on Ohio's Early Learning Development Standards, and Reggio Emilia philosophy.  This philosophy encourages children to learn new vocabulary, science and math concepts, and artistic expression through hands-on investigations.
